William
Personality:
"Never give up"
Will is a strong little rat, not only of body but of mind. He stands firm in what he believes and absolutely never gives up. This is the thing that I love about him most of all. It warms my heart to see him so strong and firm.
"Face the world standing tall"
He isnt affraid of anything. Will will stand face to face with a large cat and chirp friendely as it licks its lips. Some call it stupidity, but I call it bravery.
"Not gonna change my mind"
He doesnt budge on anything, if he wants it he gets it, if he think its his, its hi. He cant even think that he might be wrong and this puts his life in danger every now and then.
"I'm to sexy for my ears"
He is so full of himself I sometimes believe he might burst. But its that adorable tipe ego not i want to kick you in the shin tipe ego.
When the people are near
He adores people always climbing all over them trying to cuddle up and get as close as possible.
Birds of a feather
He doesnt make friends easily and tends to keep to his own. It will take a special rat to be his friend.
Quirks:
All that glitters aint gold
Will has a problem with shiny things, rings, braclets, pots pans and even cutlery sends him into enchatement. He absolutely adores anything that shines or sparkles in any way. This tends to be a problem when recieving visotors.
Every time someone visits he climbs over them searching for something shiny of interest and then removes it with care and presision putting up quite a fight to keep it.
Ticking of time
Irritating little sounds tends to be Wills favourite pass time. Sounds like ticking clocks and rustling papers are is favoroute and he tends to drive me crazy with them.
What do you plan on doing with your rat?
All of the above, i'd'like for him to be like a real pet to spoil and love.
If you feel you can no longer care for your Rat, will you return it here to find a new home?
Ofcourse thaugh I cant think that it would happen.
Art:
An easter sun
It was early morning with skies so blue I could practically see them smiling. The blankets rustled as I stretched and sat up straight ready to hop into action. Staring at the South African bush through the large windows excitement filled me, and Will, proven by the ratteling of his cage door, as colorfull specks came into view. It was easter and eggs of every shape and size littered the gold and green grass. Leaping out of bed and dressing as quickly as possable I sprang into action and let my dear friend out of his cage, popped him onto my shoulder and ran through the back door.
William sqeeked as he sat on my shoulder while I hunted for eggs. They where hidden everywhere, in trees and bushes and I even had to dig some from a unused warthog nest The hunt was fun and the sun tickled my skin as I walked through the bush near the house searching for eggs. When we finally found all the eggs there where to find (well I think we did) we entered the house and started to dig through the candy, seeing what there was and sorting our favourites. Beaing a mouce Will didnt really like chockolate and his easter sweets existed out of al sorts of cheese including his favourite which is cambert.
Wills easter hunt included a maze he had to get through before reaching cheezy ritches and enjoying his own easter treats. This wasnt nearly the end of the fun though and our favourite activity was next. A game drive trough a big five area, will was nervous at first but I promised id hold him close and put him in the front pocket of my hoodie where he was warm and safe.
He squeezed when the car started moving and peeked out of my pocket wanting to see what was happening. Even the bush seemed to be filled with hope and joy of easter while we silently drove trough it. Home was filled with happiness and family time when we returned and we all watched a movie together, will on my lap and my mother, father and sister where sitting near us on the couch.
Even though it was just another easter Will and I enjoyed every second with the family and the hope that came with it, wanting next year to come as quickly as possible.
